Dorel Juvenile Group Recalls Cosco Jump, Spin & Play Activity Centers

Dorel Juvenile Group, Inc. (Dorel) in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is conducting a safety recall on the Cosco Jump, Spin & Play Activity Center.  The Products’ straps may detach or break while a child is in the activity center, posing a fall hazard to the child.  Dorel has received 141 reports of incidents involving the Subject Products, including 38 incidents involving minor injuries such as bumps, bruises, and scratches to children, including their heads.

1. Which Cosco Jump, Spin and Play Activity Center models does this recall include?

This recall involves Cosco Jump, Spin & Play Activity Centers with model numbers WA105FZW and WA105GML. The activity centers have a circular hoop base and three poles from which a child seat with a play tray is suspended by three straps. The activity centers are sold in blue and pink, and feature two removable toy animals on the play tray at the front of the seat as well as two toy animals hanging from the front two poles. The activity centers can be adjusted to three different heights.  The model information is located on a label on the underside of the activity centers as shown below.

2. Are there any models that are NOT being recalled?

Yes.  Model WA105HCM Cosco Jump, Spin and Play Activity Center is NOT affected by this recall.  The WA105HCM has an additional black safety strap as shown below.

3. Does this recall involve any products sold in other countries?

No.  The recalled Activity Centers were sold exclusively in the U.S. at Walmart stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com from December 2020 through October 2023.

4. Can I still use my Cosco Jump, Spin and Play Activity Center?

No.  Consumers should stop using the recalled activity centers immediately and contact Dorel for a free replacement.

5. What should I do if I have a recalled activity center?

We ask that you immediately stop using the recalled activity center. We ask that you cut the straps on the recalled model, and send us a photo of the activity center, showing the straps cut.
