Shipping Policy

All ship and delivery dates communicated on our website or via e-mail are estimates only and are subject to change. Please inspect your shipment upon arrival and report any shipping-related damage immediately to the carrier.

Please note: we only ship through UPS or FedEx, therefore we cannot deliver to PO boxes, APO addresses, U.S. Territories, or Protectorates.

Free Shipping

Free US shipping via UPS Ground/FedEx is available for orders $50 and over. Orders under $50 will be charged a $7.99 flat fee for standard shipping.

Returns

We accept returns of unused products still in their original packaging within 30 days of the delivery date if the products were purchased on the Safety 1st website. By placing your order on safety1st.com/us-en/ you are accepting this return policy. If you purchased a product from one of our retail partners, please contact them directly for their return policy.

If you want to return an item, contact one of our Consumer Care representatives through our chat in the bottom corner of the site or by calling 888-521-6550 (Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET & Fridays 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM ET). We'll provide you with a pre-paid shipping label for the return shipment, to make your return simple. Original shipment charges are non-refundable.

Refunds: Once we've received your returned purchase at our warehouse, it'll take around 2-4 weeks for us to inspect the returned item and process your refund. Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment used for purchase. There will be no refunds given for returns made after 30 days of delivery.

Exchanges: If you would like to exchange an item, we ask that you reorder the item online and handle your original purchase as a return for refund. This will ensure you receive the item you desire in the event we are out of stock before we receive your return.

Promotional Items: To receive a refund for a returned item that included a promotional item as a gift with purchase, you must return the gift along with the original item. If you decide to keep the gift item, you will be assessed the full retail value.

Order Cancelation: After you submit your order, changes of any kind (ordered items, shipping/billing address, payment method, etc.) cannot be made to the order. If you wish to cancel, please contact us immediately via live chat or phone (888-521-6550). Please note that order cancellation may not be possible, as orders are processed and transferred to our warehouses for fulfillment promptly to ensure quick shipment. If the order is already in transit, consumers are expected to accept delivery of the package and handle the order as a return. Refusal of receipt of a shipment (unless approved in advance) is considered an unauthorized return and the cost of the return freight will be deducted from your refund.
