PRODUCT DISCONTINUATION

After 4 years, it’s time to make way for our new and improved WiFi Baby Monitor and app. To deliver the highest quality product and service to our new app; we made a difficult decision to discontinue the MO160/MO163 WiFi Baby Monitors.

The MO160 and MO163 WiFi Baby Monitors will cease to function on November 30th, 2021.

Sorry, that’s not possible. On November 30, 2021, the WiFi Baby Monitor and App will cease to function. We recommend taking advantage of our no-charge replacement offer for existing owners of our discontinued WiFi Baby Monitor. Offer valid until March 31, 2022.

Most cities have an electronic waste and recycling program. Please dispose of the device appropriately.

Yes! The WiFi Baby Monitor (MO173) is our latest innovation in internet connected monitors.

Existing owners of the MO160 or MO163 WiFi Baby Monitor are eligible for a no-charge replacement. To redeem, send an email to connected@safety1st.com and further instructions will be provided. If you purchased this from a 3rd party, please contact them for a refund. Refunds will not be provided by Safety 1st or Dorel Juvenile.

Existing registered customers can get a no-charge replacement of the new monitor by reaching out to Safety 1st Customer Care at connected@safety1st.com or 1-800-544-1108.

MO160 Monitor End of Support Announcement

On November 30th, 2021 – The Safety 1st WiFi Baby Monitor (MO160), the WiFi Baby Monitor with Audio Parent Unit (MO163) and Safety 1st Baby Monitor Apps for iOS and Android will be discontinued. 

Launched in 2017 in the United States and Canada, these products have delivered exceptional benefits to our consumers and have seen favorable reviews on the product and mobile applications. Technology has substantially changed over the years and while we regularly update the product firmware and mobile applications, today we are announcing that these products have reached the end of their lifecycle and are no longer in production.

In their place, we are introducing Safety 1st Connected, a suite of connected nursery products that give parents convenience and comfort when keeping an eye on baby. The new Safety 1st Connected WiFi Baby Monitor features an HD 1080p livestreaming experience with greatly improved connectivity and many enhancements our consumers have requested. Over the coming weeks, existing owners of the Safety 1st HD WiFi Baby Monitor (MO160) and the HD WiFi Baby Monitor with Audio Parent Unit (MO163) will receive a communication which includes an exclusive transition offer for our latest Safety 1st Connected WiFi Baby Monitor (MO173).

The Safety 1st WiFi Baby Monitor (MO160) and Safety 1st WiFi Baby Monitor with Audio Parent Unit (MO163) included a one-year manufacturer’s warranty from original date of purchase from an authorized retailer. Safety 1st will continue to fulfill warranty obligations until an existing user claims one of our exclusive transitional offers or up to November 30th, 2021, when the monitors and app will cease to function.
