Not at this time. Baby Moment video will be created based on your notification settings and have a duration of 30 seconds each. You can use the "snap" button to save a photo of what's currently live.

The Safety 1st Baby Monitor has a 130° viewing angle which means there is no need to pan/tilt the monitor to see the entirety of your baby's nursery.

There are none! The Safety 1st Baby Monitor includes FREE storage of event-based videos for up to 24 hours. Videos are 30 seconds each and are triggered based on personalized motion and noise notification settings. You can also save recorded videos to your mobile device and share them with family or friends.

Yes. As long as you are signed into the app and notifications have been enabled you will receive push notifications based on your personalized settings.

Yes. If your carrier supports video streaming and your LTE/4G signal quality is good enough, you'll be able to stream live HD video from anywhere you have coverage. Each time you load the livestream you will be notified that you are connecting over LTE which may incur bandwidth overage fees if you are streaming for an excessive amount of time.

Yes, every team member is notified of motion or noises coming from a monitor they have been invited to view. Each team member can personalize their notification settings including the sensitivity (tiny / large motions), weather or not to receive motion or noise notifications as well as the frequency of notifications (i.e. every 6 minutes at most).


This is most helpful when a parent may be working while another is caring for the baby. Every user will be able to see Baby Moments generated based on the settings of the user with the most sensitive settings. An avatar icon will show that the baby moment was generated by another team members settings.

No. You will only receive push notifications while you are connected to the internet via 3G, 4G, LTE or Wi-Fi and signed into the Safety 1st mobile app. If your mobile device is offline when activity is detected, you can still see any missed alerts by swiping right on livestream to view Baby Moments.

The Safety 1st Baby Monitor can detect motion up to 30 feet away from the device. When motion is detected, you will instantly receive a push notification on your mobile device, letting you know that there’s activity in your baby's nursery. Opening the alert will launch the app to the livestream video player. Captured Baby Moments are stored for up to 24 hours from when they occur.

Yes, the Safety 1st Baby Monitor features an array of IR LEDs to illuminate the camera's field of view when a lack of light is detected within the device.

Under normal use, the Smart Audio Unit can operate for up to 12 hours between battery charges depending on usage and environment.

Your Baby Moments are shown in the Baby Moment drawer underneath the live feed from your camera. Moments are stored to the cloud for 24 hours, after which they are automatically deleted. Preview images for the Baby Moments are stored to your local device.

Many critical features of the Safety 1st Baby Monitor require Push Notifications.


On iOS, If you would like to avoid receiving pop-ups and sounds, you can disable Alerts by navigating to Settings > Notifications > Safety 1st > Disable Alerts for Lock Screen, Notification Center and Banners as well as turning sounds and badges off. Be sure to leave "Allow Notifications" on to continue enjoying all the apps functionality.


Most Android devices allow you to disable Push Notifications from the Settings Menu, please refer to your device manufacturer to learn about the specific steps required.
