2020 in Review: Products for Parenting Less Complicated
Mamas, we made it. 2020 was...complicated. For those with kids, it was a constant balancing act – conference calls, third-grade math, twice-daily show-and-tells, diaper changes and so. much. more.
Our Signs of the Timesstickers encouraged parents to embrace the humor in the sh*t show we’re living in.Because for every lunchtime tantrum, there was a nighttime couch cuddle, and we know you wouldn’t change a single one. At Safety 1st, we take away the worry (as much of it as we can) so you can focus on what really matters: your kids.
So, before we say “BYE!” to the-year-that-must-not-be-named, we’re rounding up the products that helped make one thing a little less complicated this year,as recommended by parents who use them.
“Great Humidifier and Zero Clean Up – We’ve had humidifiers before, and they create a lot of upkeep cleaning from mildew. But the Stay Clean Humidifier has been amazing for keeping clean and putting out the perfect humidity in our daughters’ room, especially during the cold season. I HIGHLY recommend it!” - N. Odom
“We have bought and used TWO of these car seats. We loved it so much with my daughter, we got one for my son also. We switch vehicles often from my husband’s car to mine and it takes only a minute to install each time. We have washed the lining several times and it still looks like new. My kids find them to be comfortable. I would recommend to anyone.” – Audra
“I am very familiar with cabinet fittings, but I have to say that this is the best designed item; not only does it function very well, but the thought that has gone into designing a fool-proof method of installation is PURE GENIUS. Normal two-part fixings are difficult to line up because they are on two separate pieces of an opening cupboard or doors. These units come complete with a device that lines up the two components easily and accurately. Safety 1st, first class.” – Allan
“I have been in search of a safe and nice-looking gate for my newly renovated house. The easy install walk through gate was what I needed to keep my toddler off the stairs. It was easy to install and is very secure. My husband and I find it seamlessly opens for us but is very difficult for the kids to open it.” – D
“My little one likes to play with the toys on the tray and it will keep him entertained for a solid hour! It’s a simple product that keeps me and the kiddo happy so overall, it’s a great purchase!”– Rayden’s Mama
“There are so many things I love about this highchair. 1. It’s minimalist style. 2. It folds up to store out of the way. 3. It has wheels and easily rolls anywhere and has breaks to stop it from moving. 4. The tray is removable and has a hook on the back to hang it while not in use. 5. It goes from infant to toddler. Great highchair!” – Vanessa
“There are so many compact strollers on the market these days, it can be hard to find a good one. We tested this one out at the mall this weekend and it was definitely approved by mom and baby. It’s so lightweight and compact, so storing it in the trunk was so simple. It was so easy to navigate it through a big, giant mall crowded with people. Baby enjoyed the footrest and being able to have his feet propped up.” – Amanda
