HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. This give-away begins on September 4, 2009 and ends at 11:59 pm ET on October 2, 2009 (the "Entry Period"). Entrants must be registered as a fan of Safety 1st on the Facebook® website. To enter this promotion post how you are helping keep your baby safe on the wall of the Safety 1st Facebook® page at www.facebook.com/safety1st. Postings must be made during the Entry Period. Limit one entry per person. Should it be discovered that additional entries per person have been received such subsequent entries will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the Facebook® account used to make the wall posting. Entries made by any mass duplication, automatic, robotic, or programmed method, or through any sweepstakes entry, notification, or related service, or in any manner not in compliance with the requirements of these Official Rules are invalid and will be disqualified.   

ELIGIBILITY: This give-away is open only to legal residents of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older who are registered fans of Safety 1st on the Facebook® website at time of entry and prize award. Employees of Dorel Juvenile Group, Inc. ("Sponsor"), its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate families and household members are not eligible. Give-away is void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.

 

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Incomplete entries will not be accepted. All entries become the property of Sponsor. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules; including all eligibility requirements. Neither Sponsor, nor its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, or any network or service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, failures of any delivery service, network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, misdirected, or unreadable entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in or accessing or downloading information in connection with this give-away.

 

PRIZES: Twenty winners will receive a Safety 1st® Complete Air™ convertible car seat (approximate retail value $249.99). All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize substitution, cash substitution, or assignment or transfer of prizes is permitted, except by Sponsor for reason of unavailability in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Limit one prize per household. Winners should allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery of prizes.

 

DRAWING: During the Entry Period, five weekly prizewinners will be randomly drawn for each of the following dates in 2009: September 11, September 18, September 25 and October 2; from all eligible entries received as of the designated dates. The random drawings shall be conducted by the Sponsor whose decisions are final with respect to all aspects of the give-away. The winners will be notified via direct message on Facebook® and/or email. A winner has two weeks to respond back to Sponsor's prize notification e-mail. If a prize notification is returned or unanswered within the allotted time (2 weeks) or if a winner declines the prize or is ineligible such prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. As a condition of awarding the prize, you consent to Sponsor's use of your name for promotional purposes, including online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. If requested by Sponsor, winners must complete, sign and return, within seven days of the date of notification, an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release where lawful. If the releases are not timely returned or otherwise is not in compliance with these Official Rules, any prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected. If, in Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the give-away, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the give-away, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the give-away and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all entries received as of the termination date. 

 

GENERAL: This give-away is governed by U.S. law, subject to all federal, state, and local laws.   The winners agree that Sponsor, its affiliates and their agencies and employers shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this give-away or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner.
