Spotlight on Ryan!
This month we chatted with Safety 1st Executive Vice President of Sales, Ted Kelley, about what it’s like raising his 18-month old son, Ryan. First and foremost it’s most impressive to note that Ryan is already at the 100th percentile for height (not surprising since Dad towers in at a staggering 6’4”.) Take note all you NBA recruiters – in just 20 years this kid’s bound for slam dunks. So how does he maintain his impressive height you might ask? Ryan loves fruits like bananas and plums, and (thanks to Dad) pizza. So far his favorite toys include a microwave oven, basketball, baseball, and wooden blocks. He’s very active and enjoys taking swimming lessons at the local YMCA with Dad during the winter and in his pool at home with Mom, Carrie, during the summer. When he’s not at home playing with Elmo, he’s busy at a play group, or having fun on a swing at the park. So far Ryan has road tripped to Maine, Connecticut, and New Jersey and Dad reports that he loves being in the car. He also sleeps through the night, a big relief, as Carrie is pregnant again! But Ryan will have to wait till December 29th to find out if he’s going to have a baby sister or brother.
Congratulations Ted and Carrie on your upcoming arrival!
