Dorel Juvenile Group is looking to fill a Manager of Sales Channels position. This position will handle our Specialty accounts. You will be responsible for soliciting orders, selling the entire Dorel Juvenile Group product line and effectively presenting to accounts as well as providing sales coverage and developing the best possible market penetration for all products to existing and target accounts. You will be the primary contact for national sales representatives and responsible for a national territory. Account responsibility is approximately $10-20 million annual sales volume.
Maintain and increase the sales volume of existing accounts and aggressively solicit orders from existing and target accounts. Establish new channels of distribution. Carry out merchandising and marketing programs. Develop sales forecasts. Maintain and update a customer database and prepare/submit call reports. Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs and trade shows. Maintain a working network of close out channels to sell overstocks and discontinued inventory. Provide information to customers on new and current products, back orders, general order status, current pricing structure, company policy changes and anticipate their future demands. Communicate and work closely with customer service regarding daily account maintenance. Work closely with National Sales Representatives and responsible for communication with them regarding strategy, product availability, and policy changes. Present sales rep concerns and challenges to internal groups.
Sales professional with a minimum of 5 years experience in consumer product sales. Bachelors degree. Demonstrated success in Sales and Sales Management. Strong financial savvy a must! Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written, required along with strong analytical skills. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks required. Must be detail oriented and thrive in a fast paced environment! Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Must be able to travel for trade shows, account visits and various sales meetings.
