Dorel Juvenile Group is looking to fill an International Sales Manager position located in our Foxboro, MA office. Manage the International Sales network in Latin America, Asia Pacific, South Africa and the Middle East. Design the sales infrastructure and distribution strategy by market to generate the greatest revenue, profit, distribution and market share.
Responsible for obtaining the sales revenue, profit & product distribution objectives set by market/customer. Perform a comprehensive analysis of market potential, current share and opportunity within international markets/accounts. Set annual pricing based on margin/profit requirements. Increase customer/geography profit performance. Generate revenue growth. Penetrate new and expand existing markets through engineering and implementation of offensive and defensive trade programs. Manage licensing programs, international packaging initiatives and all aspects of international and domestic trade show participation. Manage and train distributors and manufacturer representatives. Responsible for forecasts, inventory management, merchandising and promotions.
Manage annual planning budget process leading tactical and strategic approach to achieve sales objectives. Develop and present strategic plans and supporting financials to management. Perform detailed analysis on all products/categories examining profit contributions and trade spending. Monitor and evaluate profit and loss statements to evaluate all programs for efficiencies and effectiveness. Work closely with the product planning group to coordinate product production and packaging to ensure adequate stock is maintained and orders are shipped on a timely basis.
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required along with a minimum of 5+ years of consumer product sales experience. Knowledge of the retail industry required, juvenile and international experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing relationships internally with various departments and externally with key accounts. Proven ability to build and maintain maximum sales volumes for accounts as well as ability to drive both short and long term sales goals to increase overall profitability for the company. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment. Excellent analytical, strategic and problem solving skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. International travel required.
